Cristiano Ronaldo says he wants to see out the final two years of his contract at Real Madrid before deciding on his next step.

The former Manchester United forward's deal at the Bernabeu runs out in June 2018 but there has been speculation over his future, and whether he will call an early halt to his stay in the Spanish capital.

Ronaldo, who turned 31 last week, was speaking at a Marca awards ceremony on Monday where he received the Pichichi Trophy for finishing as the top scorer in La Liga last season.

To celebrate Ronaldo's 31st birthday, Guillem Balague talks us through his favourite La Liga goals.

He reiterated his desire to finish his contract with Madrid in the "best league in the world", and win another Champions League medal before looking at what options are available.

"I want to stay here for two more years, and then we'll see about the future. That's the contract that I've got," he said. "Now what I have to do is try to win trophies and the Champions League once again.
