Cristiano Ronaldo has described Real Madrid's current form as "phenomenal" after their 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.

The Champions League semi-final first leg victory sets Real up perfectly to reach their third final in the competition in four years.

Ronaldo scored a hat-trick on Tuesday, and though there is debate as to whether the third goal was his 400th in a Real shirt, the Portuguese star says it is "special" to reach the milestone, which the club claim is official.

In an exclusive interview with Dugout, Ronaldo said: "It's very special. The truth is that amount of goals is really big, something I didn't expect but it is a reflection of the whole team, of my work as well of all the people who work at the club, the fans that always support us and give us this extra motivation.

"We play for the shirt, I feel really happy. I want to give my all to the club with the time left on my contract with Real Madrid, I will try to do my best, score goals and work to ensure that Real Madrid wins titles.
