The big-money capture from Roma suffered a slow start last season with indifferent form and mistakes hindering his ability to settle.
However, the 27-year-old defender is keen to make amends and is not looking to walk through the Santiago Bernabeu exit door just yet.
Samuel is pleased with the arrival of coach Wanderley Luxemburgo and feels everyone has been lifted by the Brazilian coach's arrival.
"I want to stay at Real Madrid because I don't like changing or moving from one place to another so frequently," explained Samuel.
"My idea is to have revenge at Real Madrid. They bought me so I must be worth it.
"I know I didn't start the season very well and made some mistakes but since Luxemburgo's arrival things have changed, not only in me but in everyone."
Samuel is preparing for the Confederations Cup with Argentina and is keen for the South American giants to make a splash in Germany.
"The Confederations Cup is really important because it will be a good test for us ahead of the World Cup," he added.
"It will be useful for me as it's a chance for me to win a place in the squad next summer."
