Real Zaragoza striker Savio has signed a new deal with the Spanish side.The Brazilian forward has penned a fresh two-year deal with Zaragoza, with his current contract coming to an end this summer.
The 31-year-old attracted interest from Atletico Madrid and Deportivo La Coruna, but has decided to stay put.
"I am very happy because I have had the chance to extend my contract with Zaragoza," said Savio.
"I am very pleased to play here and I wanted to stay so I am glad."
Zaragoza had stated their desire to keep the South American and their efforts have been rewarded with Savio signing a new deal.
