Deportivo La Coruna defender Pablo Amo says he will depart on loan this season.Deportivo La Coruna defender Pablo Amo has revealed he will need to leave the club on loan this season.
The 27-year-old (pictured) has been told by new Depor boss Joaquin Caparros that he does not figure in his plans and that he likely to take a loan out to a club in the Segunda Liga, with Sporting Gijon seemingly leading the chase.
Speaking before the club's InterToto Cup second round tie with Serbo-Montenegrin side Buducnost Podgorica, Amo seemed resigned that he will have to find first team football away from the Riazor this coming campaign.
"I am happy in La Coruna, but I need to play and in this situation, it is impossible," said Amo.
"I'm a realistic person and now, it is clear that I will leave.
"I want a quick solution."
The Galician club, meanwhile, have told rebel striker Walter Pandiani to return for pre-season training on July 5.
The Uruguayan, who is being linked with moves to Real Zaragoza and Mallorca, was originally told to report back for pre-season training on Friday.
However, Caparros was not keen to have Pandiani in his squad before Saturday's match with Buducnost and so the South American will return to the club next week.
During his loan spell at Birmingham City last season, Pandiani was publicly critical of Depor and his outbursts are sure to see him move on this summer.
