Djukic felt that his days at the Mestalla had been numbered for some, and he admitted on Wednesday that coach Rafa Benitez no longer requires his services.
The defender, who will become a free agent in the summer, said: "The coach has told me that I don't figure in his plans for next season.
"I have known about it for some time. It has been pretty obvious because I've not been playing."
The 37-year-old has no plans to retire, as he added: "As long as I have the strength and desire, I will keep playing."
In other news, Valencia midfielder Vicente has implored the club`s supporters not to blame the defence for the goal that gifted Celta Vigo a point at the weekend.
"We have one of the better defences in Europe," said Vicente. "No one must criticise this defence, because the fault is with us all."
Looking ahead to this week`s clash with Atletico Madrid, Vicente added: "We have to play a good match, because we need three points to continue our quest for the title."
