Roberto Ayala is confident Valencia can beat Chelsea in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
The Premiership champions are among the favourites to lift the trophy in Athens but Ayala insists he was happy with the outcome of Friday's quarter-final draw.
Valencia travel to Stamford Bridge for the first leg in early April and Ayala knows Andrei Shevchenko and Didier Drogba will be hard to counter.
But the Argentine defender believes his side can clinch their place in the last four with victory at home in the second leg.
"The Blues are a big rival and I believe it is better to play against this team because there is more prestige," Ayala explained.
"To play the second match in Valencia is a positive for us but it is essential to play a good game at Stamford Bridge.
"Drogba and Shevchenko are different to (Internazionale strikers) Hernan Crespo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic but they are also dangerous to any defenders.
"I am optimistic and I prefer that Chelsea are favourites because they are under more pressure."
