Espanyol's Luis Garcia wants to wait until the end of the season to talk about Valencia.
Espanyol forward Luis Garcia has refused to rule out a move to Valencia, but says he wants to concentrate on playing for his club until the end of the season.
Garcia was a target for Valencia last summer and, while a deal failed to materialise then, the Che are still rumoured to be interested.
However, Garcia insists his priority for now is make sure Espanyol enjoy a strong finish to the season.
"My future will be studied at the end of the season," he told the Spanish media.
"My agent has news for me, but I have demanded that there is no discussion until June.
"At the moment, Espanyol are in an important period and I do not desire greater pressure.
"For now, I am only thinking of playing for Espanyol and helping the team do well in La Liga and the Uefa Cup. Our aim in Europe is to reach the final."
Meanwhile, press reports have suggested Espanyol could be lining up a bid for 20-year-old Santos defender Carlinhos.
The Brazilian is valued at é¼3m (£2m) and the Spaniards apparently view him as a prospect for the future.
Proposed moves for Sevilla's David Castedo and Villarreal's Rodolfo Arruabarrena have since been abandoned.
