Barcelona's Lionel Messi has won the Sky Sports La Liga Power Rankings by an unprecedented margin - but who else made the top 50?

Messi ended the season with a league-topping 34 goals and 12 assists - picking up his fifth European Golden Shoe.

As a measure of his dominance in the rankings this term, the Argentine collected a staggering 65 per cent more Power Rankings points than runner-up Luis Suarez and 38 per cent more than Premier League winner Mohamed Salah.

Cristiano Ronaldo had only scored four league goals in mid-January but hit form during a 7-1 win against Deportivo and ended the campaign on 26 goals to secure third spot in the chart.

Former Liverpool striker Iago Aspas has scored 22 goals for Celta Vigo to claim a spot in Spain's World Cup squad, while Espanyol forward Gerard Moreno has excelled in duels and aerials - in addition to scoring 16 goals.

Atletico Madrid stopper Jan Oblak made the top 10 with 22 clean sheets and 109 saves - edging Barca 'keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen's 19 shutouts and 98 saves.

Atleti team-mate Antoine Griezmann ranked seventh with 19 goals - but failed to commit to the club after winning the Europa League - while Saul claimed ninth spot.
