Getafe bring in two more

Getafe have continued their preparations for life in La Primera by completing two more signings.

The Primera new-boys have confirmed that they have agreed deals for Argentine Martin Vitali and Romanian veteran Gica Craioveanu (pictured).

Vitali, a 28-year-old full back who spent last term at Segunda outfit Leganes, has signed a two-year deal.

Craioveanu, 36, has a wealth of experience of the Spanish game having already played for the likes of Real Sociedad and Villarreal.

Getafe are hoping he will bring some know-how to their attempts to stay up, and the player himself is hugely excited by the challenge.

"I really want to get started in this marvellous season we are looking forward to," he stated.

"For us it is a gift to be in La Primera and we must enjoy it to the full.

"Personally, I am as excited as a youngster and am going to give everything to this team."

The Madrid-based outfit have officially presented the four players they signed earlier in the summer; Javier Sanchez Broto from Murcia, Francisco Gallardo from Sevilla, Yordi from Zaragoza and Andres Pernia from Recreativo de Huelva.

Meanwhile, boss Quique Torres has revealed he is also closing on the capture of Sergio Pachon, but is still haggling over a price with his club Real Valladolid who are demanding ‚é¼600,000 for the midfielder.
