With Antonio Soldevilla sent off, Espanyol capitulated to a poor home loss to one of the three promoted sides from La Segunda Liga last season.
Ramos is also worried about the fixture list that sees them face Barcelona at Camp Nou as they look to build upon a start that has seen them pick up no points in two games, conceding five whilst only scoring a solitary goal.
"Real Sociedad were better than us on the pitch and there was no coming back," said Ramos.
He added: "When things are not going well, so the disquiet starts.
"The only solution is to work more, to get a good pair of results and to recover the equilibrium.
"From the beginning it was a very screwed game and the sending off complicated it still more because the second yellow to Soldevilla seemed to me a bit harsh. In any case the referee had some successes and some errors."
Ramos was annoyed with the first goal, saying: "It was a set-piece and we knew how they did their corners.
"It is clear that we need to pay more attention and concentrate.
"The team is very nervous, they do not want the ball. If we were to be able to remove this in such a difficult ground as Camp Nou, that fear and distrust can become something positive."
