The Brazilian was rushed to hospital after he lost consciousness following an accidental collision with Mallorca player Alberto Riera (pictured) in a league game on Saturday night.
Riera caught Fredson with a boot to the head in the lead-up to Espanyol's second goal in their 2-0 triumph.
Although there was real concern for the former Atletico Paranaense star, tests have shown no serious damage, and the 22-year-old is now keen to concentrate on his recovery.
"All I want to do now is rest. I need it," said Fredson.
"Fear? I haven't had time to think about that.
"It didn't really affect me. Oriol Mas (Espanyol physio) was at my side throughout it all."
The South American is enduring a difficult first season in European football, and a string of niggling injuries have prevented him from establishing himself as a first-team regular at Montjuic.
Fredson is scheduled to return to training on Wednesday, if he suffers no further setbacks, but is unlikely to be considered for next weekend's trip to relegation rivals Recreativo de Huelva.
