The veteran defender launched a withering attack on Irureta and refused to travel to his side's game with Mallorca on Sunday after discovering he would not be in the starting line-up.
The 40-year-old was included in the party to travel to the game in Mallorca, but was informed that Hector would be starting in his place at centre back which provoked his furious reaction.
"I don't know what the manager is wanting to do, it's difficult to understand," said the stopper.
"He's going to play Hector as a centre back but, with respect to Hector, anyone who knows about football will not understand this.
"This is not only the way I feel but also my team-mates.
"This is a very difficult situation for me and it's damaging me a lot.
"I have never refused to play or travel to a game in my career, including friendlies, but I can not go with my head like this.
"If the manager does not have the confidence to put me in from the start, I don't know what I'm doing on the bench.
"I have spent 20 years as a professional and I don't believe I deserve this. It's my last year at the club (Depor), but not in football."
