The 25-year-old stopper hardly figured under Javier Irureta last season, and was mainly limited to appearances in cup matches.
The Madrid-born defender was brought to the club as back-up to Portuguese stopper Jorge Andrade, after he was injured.
Irureta does rate Amo quite highly and despite his lack of playing time he may be due for a more important role this coming season.
No less than six Spanish teams, including Mallorca, Valladolid, Villarreal, Real Betis, Albacete and Murcia are all interested in Amo, as are teams from abroad.
Irureta has had interest coming in for Amo from German and English teams, but he insists that the commanding defender is not for sale.
Club president August Cesar Lendoiro is one of Amo's biggest fans and he wants him to stay and become a regular at Estadio Riazor.
Amo will be hoping that this season can be the one that he makes his breakthrough into the starting XI for the Galician outfit.
