The 30-year-old has finally put pen-to-paper on a new contract after lengthy negotiations between the two parties.
Cruchaga's previous deal was set to expire at the end of the current campaign and a number of clubs were reported to be showing an interest in acquiring his services.
Real Sociedad - who have tried to sign the stopper for the past two summers - were one of his suitors, but Cruchaga has decided to extend his seven-year association with Osasuna.
The Estadio El Sadar outfit made their first contract proposal to Cruchaga in February of last year and negotiations have been ongoing ever since.
The central defender is now expected to finish his professional career with Javier Aguirre's side for whom he has been a crucial performer in the past few seasons.
