Reports have suggested that the Australian international has failed a medical with Pana and that has plunged the transfer into doubt.
Aloisi had agreed a two-year contract with the Greek outfit after opting to leave Osasuna on a free transfer.
But reports in Greece have suggested that Pana want to change the terms of the deal due to a knee injury which showed up in the medical.
The club were keen to alter the contract to a 12-month arrangement but that prompted a negative response from Aloisi.
The striker's move to Pana has yet to be rubberstamped but the club are adamant that the transfer has not fallen through.
"The newspapers are reporting this but nothing is settled," a Panathinaikos official told Reuters.
"We will make an announcement when we have something to announce."
