Real Betis striker Dani faces up to one month on the sidelines with a thigh injury.Real Betis have been dealt a blow with the news that striker Dani faces up to one month on the sidelines.
The 24-year-old ruptured a thigh muscle during the goalless draw with Zaragoza on Sunday.
The hit-man sustained the injury just before half time in the stalemate and was immediately forced from the pitch, replaced by Capi.
Dani is now likely to miss up to six games - the league encounters against Deportivo, Barcelona, Real Sociedad and Getafe as well as the UEFA Champions League clashes with Chelsea and Anderlecht.
The player himself has spoken of his dejection at the setback having made a promising start to the campaign.
"This injury comes at the worst possible time for me because I was playing at a high level," he stated.
