Spanish international Juanfran (pictured) had been tipped to leave Celta and was the subject of a bid from Blackburn in January.
However, the left back has now agreed to stay and has signed a new three-year deal after meeting with president Horacio Gomez.
Argentine star Berizzo, who was out of contract in the summer, has signed a two-year extension.
"Juanfran is a young player who we wanted to stay at Celta and we have been looking to formalise an agreement," said Gomez.
"Berizzo is an automatic selection now and his renewal was almost automatic."
Celta are also discussing terms with Alexander Mostovoi and Gustvao Lopez.
"To Alexander we have offered another year, with an option for an extra 12 months - he has about 15 days to give us his answer.
"With Gustavo we have offered him three years, but he seems to want something more and so we are still talking but we are confident that both parties can get what they want."
