The news will come as a big boost for the Galician outfit who find themselves in a desperate battle to avoid relegation from La Primera.
The Spanish international full back has been out of action since the end of December last year after sustaining a groin injury.
It was originally thought that complete rest would clear up the problem, but the 27-year-old was eventually forced to go under the surgeon's knife after failing to progress as expected.
The player admits he is still not 100 percent fit, but is hopeful he might return to first-team action in Sunday's crucial home clash.
"Hopefully I can be there although I still have some strange feelings with the injury," declared the former Valencia star.
"Physically I am not 100 percent. Last week I thought I was definitely going to be fit for this Sunday but now, because of these feelings, I can not guarantee that I will be able to play against Zaragoza.
"I have pain in the pelvic region and above all I still lack confidence in my movements, and am a little slow.
"There are five days to go and we will see what happens. I hope that as the week passes I will notice an improvement."
