Celta Vigo's victory at Gimnastic de Tarragona came at a price on Sunday as Brazilian defender George Lucas picked up a serious injury.The full back, who joined from Gremio in the summer, broke his left ankle in a heavy collision shortly before the hour mark.
The 22-year-old will undergo further tests on Monday, but initial reports claim that he could miss the majority of the season such was the severity of the problem.

Celta doctors believe the best course of action for the former Ajax star is complete rest rather than surgery meaning that he is looking at between eight and 12 weeks out of action.
Coach Fernando Vazquez admitted that the injuries could not have come at a worse time for his team who begin their Uefa Cup campaign this week against Standard Liege.
"These problems have come at a terrible time as we are in the first matches of the season and have the Uefa Cup to play," he stated.
