Nihat Kahveci feels it will be next year before his move to CSKA Moscow is back on.Nihat Kahveci feels there is little point in resurrecting his move to CSKA Moscow until next year.
The Real Sociedad attacker had been lined up for a switch to Russia, with CSKA ready to pay é¼10 million for the Turkey international.
But the deal has stagnated in recent weeks, with reports claiming Nihat's fitness is proving an issue.
He suffered a cruciate ligament injury in February and is still working his way back to fitness, although he insists this is not the reason for the collapse of the transfer.
Nihat feels financial factors were behind the lack of a final agreement and, as he does not believe he will be fully fit until November, it would be pointless trying to put the deal back on track.
"It is not possible to have an accord but today I prefer to wait on my return to work," said Nihat.
"I don't feel any pressure and my only desire is to be better again.
"It has been the story of the summer but I am calm," added Nihat on his proposed move to the Uefa Cup winners.
"The deal is not possible due to money questions and not physical questions. In Germany, I have undergone the medical tests and the results were good but the total recuperation will be in November.
"What is the possibility of signing for CSKA if the Russian championship finishes in December?"
