The transfer window may be closed until the end of the summer, but that hasn't stopped rumours of some of Europe's biggest clubs making mega-money moves for their primary targets.

Our friends at Football Whispers have scoured the continental media for the latest news and transfer rumours.

Germany

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's time at Schalke appears to be over and it looks likely he will be on the move this summer. The 33-year-old is now behind winter signing Guido Burgstaller, Swiss sensation Breel Embolo and former Chelsea man Franco Di Santo in the pecking order. FC Koln may have to part ways with their top goalscorer Anthony Modeste in the summer. The 28-year-old, who has 17 league goals to his name, is a target for a host of Chinese clubs and it is believed they are prepared to part with €40m to land the former Blackburn striker. (Kicker)

Memphis Depay is starting to play himself into form for Lyon. He didn't get on the scoresheet in Lyon's 4-2 win over Dijon but he did yet again catch the eye. He showed glimpses of why the club sanctioned such a big money move for him in January and it's promising for the club. (L'Equipe)

Barcelona's response to the 4-0 humbling at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain wasn't as convincing as many had hoped. The current La Liga champions beat Leganés 2-1 at the Nou Camp and needed a last-minute Lionel Messi penalty to walk away with all three points. However, manager Luis Enrique is safe for now according to club president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

"We have agreed that we will talk in April, Now we are focused on our football and we will remain so until April. Right now we have the coach we want who has done very well and can give his attention to the team.

Italy

Gabriel Barbosa, nicknamed Gabigol, netted his first goal for Inter Milan since his €30m move from Santos in the summer. The Brazilian striker came off the bench to score the winner as Stefano Pioli's side beat Bologna to reclaim fourth place in Serie A. The 20 year old was overjoyed at getting off the mark for the club.
