Lazio have dismissed reports that the club are in talks to sell Goran Pandev to Serie A rivals Juventus.

Lotito claims there has been no contact from Juve

Lazio have dismissed reports that the club are in talks to sell Goran Pandev to Serie A rivals Juventus. Pandev, who has been linked with Hamburg and Tottenham Hotspur, is rumoured to be a target for Juventus, who are open to the sale of David Trezeguet. However, Lazio president Claudio Lotito says he has not spoken to his Juve counterpart Giovanni Cobolli Gigli and has no plans to cash in on the Macedonian striker. "He's not on the market," Lotito told the Italian media. "Pandev is a Lazio player and, before talking with him, Cobolli Gigli would have to talk with me. "I have never had any interest from Juve or other teams." Lotito, who is trying to reach a deal to keep Mauro Zarate at the club, also denied rumours that he has been sounding out possible replacements for coach Delio Rossi. He added: "There isn't a deadline. "By 30th June we have define everything for the league inscription, and the coach issue is important but not fundamental."
