Cagliari midfielder Daniele Conti has vowed to carry on giving his all to the club.

Midfielder not interested in leaving

Daniele Conti has vowed to carry on giving his all to the club where he has plied his trade for more than ten years. The midfielder joined Cagliari from Roma in 1999 and did not look for a transfer when they were relegated the following summer. He helped Cagliari win promotion back to Serie A in 2004 and has always resisted interest from elsewhere. Conti, now the club captain, maintains that he is just as committed to Cagliari as always and will never ask to leave. "I may have a year or two more experience than some of my team-mates, but we all have our own responsibilities," the 30-year-old told Sportal. "What matters to me is giving my all when I wear this jersey. I have never taken into consideration requests from other clubs. "This is out of respect for a club that has given me a lot. Also, I feel very much at home here."
