Highly-rated midfielder Kojo Asamoah has insisted he is happy to remain with Udinese for at least another year.
Asamoah has previously been linked with a number of Premier League clubs and was expected to attract more interest after playing for Ghana at the World Cup.
Udinese have also lost a couple of key players this summer but Asamoah has no problem with staying at the club and is looking forward to the new campaign.
"I expected some news on my return but I'm still here, as I thought," the 21-year-old told the Italian press.
"(Gaetano) D'Agostino and (Simone) Pepe have gone, but I have seen that there are other good players.
"We have a good team, also thanks to the returns of (Antonio) Candreva and (Giampiero) Pinzi.
"After the World Cup I rested for two or three weeks at home.
"The future? I'll stay here a year. Here I'm peaceful and happy, and I can improve."
