Lazio president Claudio Lotito has insisted that Libor Kozak has a future at the club as there are no suitable alternatives on the market.
The 21-year-old forward admitted before Christmas that he had become frustrated with playing only a minor role this season and would be making a decision on what to do next after talks with manager Edy Reja.
But Kozak has now been given reason to believe that he is an integral member of the squad after Lotito played down reports of a move elsewhere.
Having stepped off the substitutes' bench to score the winning goal against Sampdoria last Sunday, Lotito has no intention of letting him go.
"I have never put him on the market," Lotito told Rai TV.
"It's true that all the teams are asking me about him but Lazio intend to keep him.
"I will let Kozak go only when I have a good alternative and at this moment there is nobody similar around.
"Lazio can't deprive themselves of a player like Kozak."
