AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf insists he is not considering a return to boyhood club Ajax in the summer.
Seedorf, who is out of contract at the San Siro in the summer, admitted earlier this week he is yet to be offered a new deal by the Rossoneri.
The 35-year-old, a former Real Madrid and Sampdoria player, arrived at Milan from fierce local rivals Inter in 2002 and has notched up well over 200 appearances for the Serie A giants.
Seedorf started his professional career with Ajax, who unsuccessfully attempted to lure him back to the Amsterdam Arena last year.
But while not ruling out a return to the Netherlands in the future, the former Dutch international is adamant a summer return to Ajax is not on the cards.
Not an option
He told NUSport: "Never say never, but a return to Ajax is not an option for me at the moment.
"I'm still closely monitoring what's happening at Ajax, as I do with all the clubs where I've played in the past.
"I'm keeping a close eye on the Dutch title race to see whether Ajax will take it. Additionally, I'm closely following Sampdoria's relegation battle.
"I repeat that a return to the Netherlands is not an issue right now, though."
Seedorf has been linked with a move to Brazilian clubs Corinthians and Flamengo in the summer, while several Bundesliga sides are also reportedly chasing his signature.
