There is 'no possibility' of AC Milan striker Antonio Cassano joining Napoli in an exchange deal for Marek Hamsik, according to his agent.
Despite his promising performances for Milan, reports have linked the Italy international to a possible swap which would see Slovakia midfielder Hamsik arrive at the San Siro this summer.
But 28-year-old Cassano's agent, Giuseppe Bozzo, is adamant the exchange will not materialise.
He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "Cassano will remain at Milan as long as he is useful to the Rossoneri club.
"Napoli? I would say those are just media inventions.
"There is no possibility that there can be an exchange between Hamsik and Cassano."
Cassano joined the Serie A champions in January from Sampdoria and is under contract until June 2014.
The striker scored four goals and provided seven assists in 17 league outings for Milan last season.
Meanwhile, Bozzo believes another of his clients, Fiorentina striker Alberto Gilardino, could leave if the right offer presents itself.
The 28-year-old has stated he is happy in Florence, but his agent says his future depends on the interest of other clubs.
He told Sky Sport Italia: "If bids arrive they will be evaluated together with the club.
"Fiorentina value Alberto highly because they rightly consider him to be an important player.
"Juventus were close to him in January, but Fiorentina said no because of their delicate place in the table.
"I think Gilardino could leave, if an important offer arises."
