PIZARRO REVEALS INTER TALKS

WERDER BREMEN striker Claudio Pizarro has revealed that he is set to enter into talks with Internazionale.

The 22-year-old has emerged as one of the hottest properties in the Bundesliga, and earlier revealed that he was happy with Werder but admitted that he would be open to any offers.

He has now declared that he will meet with Inter, saying: "I am set to talk with Neroazzurri this week. I have always dreamed to be an Inter player."

Werder are desperate to keep the player, who is contracted to 2002, at the Weserstadion but he has a clause that will allow him to leave if any team tables a bid in excess of £5 million.

The asking price is well within the budget of the Serie A side, and a bonus is that the Peruvian holds an Italian passport, meaning he would not take up a valuable foreign place.

Meanwhile Inter ace Javier Zanetti has revealed he will be available for the Serie A clash against Fiorentina next Saturday night.

"I have been called for the Argentina International," he declared. "But I have asked the AFA if I can leave Italy after this match."

Uruguayan forward Alvaro Recoba will fly to Montevideo on Tuesday April 16 to play in a match against Chile.
