The two clubs agreed to the exchange last week, but now Neroazzurri have back-tracked as they feel Guglielminpietro, who is nicknamed Guly, is demanding for too high of wages.
The Argentine midfielder is now believed to be interesting French outfit Bordeaux.
Inter president Massimo Moratti has proposed to his rivals to replace Guly with Drazen Brncic in this affair.
The Croatian player is currently in Belgium, but he could be back next week to sign the deal with Neroazzurri.
Meanwhile Moratti is looking for a central defender as he continues his summer spending spree and his top target is Parma's central defender Fabio Cannavaro.
However, the Inter chief knows that it will almost be impossible to sign the Italian international as Parma are thought to be close to a deal with AS Roma for Cannavaro.
If as expected Inter fail to land Cannavaro they will switch their attentions to Mohammed Gargo of Udinese.
