Javier Zanetti and Hernan Crespo are just two of his compatriots to return from international duty in Japan and Cuper will assess their condition on Saturday morning.
"I am a little worried especially about the trip made by the Argentine players," said Cuper.
The duo returned from international duty with Argentina on Friday afternoon and Cuper feels his compatriots are not in the best condition to take part.
"They came back yesterday (Thursday) afternoon, we'll see their condition tomorrow (Saturday).
"They made a long flight and they all played 90 minutes, except (Hernan) Crespo, who only played 85 minutes.
"I'll choose my ideal line-up, with or without two or three players."
Crespo and Almeyda are expected to sit out the game if they are jet-lagged with Inter's sizeable squad looking well capable of providing replacements.
Cuper is aware that his charges will be pumped up for the Milan derby match which is also a six-pointer at the top of Serie A.
"Against Milan the charge arrives without asking him. In other matches a stimulus is needed but a derby is a derby," added the former Valencia chief.
