The young midfielder has had an impressive season for the Flying Donkeys, forcing his way into Giovanni Trapattoni`s national squad.
Parma were said to be close to signing Perrotta during January`s transfer window, but he ended up staying at Chievo.
A host of clubs have continued to monitor his progress, with Inter rumoured to be preparing a summer raid.
Chievo are reportedly ready to accept a fee in the region of é¼10 million, although they would consider a player-plus-cash deal.
Flying young Inter forward Obafemi Martins is a player the Italian media are suggesting could be the makeweight in any deal.
In other news, Inter coach Hector Cuper has hinted he may tinker with his team for the Serie A clash with Atalanta at the weekend, with the Champions League encounter with Milan firmly in his mind.
He said: "With Atalanta it's a championship match important not only for the first place but also for the second one.
"Undoubtedly the match with Milan conditions us a little. It's possible I'll make a few changes, but we'll be thinking about winning.
"For Saturday everything is possible, also I'll give a break to two forwards. Martins? He could play.
"It will be a battle because Atalanta need to win to have the possibility of salvation."
Cuper moved to play down talk of his squad failing in recent games due to a lack of fitness.
He added: "Against Lazio the team didn't play a good second-half, but the problem isn't fitness.
"The problem has been with the ball, a determination problem.
"As a coach I am always looking to improve the team`s play, but it`s easier to talk about fitness."
Cuper was also happy about his own situation.
The Argentine said: "The meeting with president Moratti? It was very good.
"We spoke about the last match, the next ones and about players for next season."
