Lokomotiv Moscow coach Yury Semin was understandably delighted, but level-headed, after his side opened their UEFA Champions League account in emphatic fashion by thumping three goals past crestfallen Internazionale.
Semin is still looking ahead to future triumphs and believes Inter will qualify, although his pre-tournament assumption that Arsenal will also be expected to qualify is seemingly on the rocks.
"I hope our best games are in the future," he said, when asked if it was Lokomotiv's best display of the season. "But it was a great game today.
"Our players did a good job. I'd also like to thank our fans.
"Arsenal and Inter are still favourites. Inter have six points, Loko has only got four."
Inter captain Javier Zanetti was at a loss to explain the shocking performance from the Neroazzurri.
"It's difficult explaining this result," he confessed. "They had three shots and scored three times, while we have failed on many occasions.
"We played at the same level as the Russian side.
"In this period, everything goes badly. Tomorrow, we will start a new adventure with (Alberto) Zaccheroni.
"The president came into the dressing room before the match, afterwards he came again, but did not say anything.
"We will talk tomorrow. I understand the disappointment of our supporters. We must change this situation.
"Sunday, we have a big possibility, and we will have the new coach. Let's hope to make a good performance."
