Lazio boss Roberto Mancini has moved again to refute claims that his best players will be moving from the club in the January transfer window.
Rumours persist in the Italian press that Dejan Stankovic is poised for a January move to Internazionale and now Massimo Oddo and Jaap Stam have been earmarked for imminent departures to Juventus.
However, Mancini remains adamant that the speculation is largely unfounded and is confident that his side will not be depleted in the new year.
He said: "I know perfectly well that these rumours are groundless.
"The players must only think of playing, because wins like Saturday's over Juventus are good for the management and the whole group."
The futures of all three players could be dependent on this week's crucial UEFA Champions League clash against Sparta Prague.
Qualification is paramount to Lazio's financial predicament and a departure before the knockout stage could force the sale of several key players.
