Internazionale debutant Dejan Stankovic opined that he was more than satisfied with his maiden outing against Siena on Sunday.
The Serbo-Montenegrin midfielder helped the Nerazzurri on their way to a 4-0 triumph but added he was a little nervous lining up alongside his new team-mates, who he had only met the day before.
"I'm happy. I think I have played my part, as everyone did," said the former Lazio man.
"It has been a good first appearance. I was a little nervous but I think that's normal.
"I only met my new team-mates on Saturday and going straight into a game with them wasn't easy. But everything went well."
With former side Lazio only managing a draw against Sampdoria, Stankovic admitted he felt sorrow for his old side but was now concentrating all his efforts on Inter.
"I'm sorry for my former team-mates' draw, they were looking for a win," he added.
"But now I must think only of Inter. At the moment the team lack a few positive results, but don't forget, not long ago we won seven consecutive matches so we are capable of putting a run together."
