Nicola Burdisso could make his Internazionale debut against Atalanta.Summer signing Nicola Burdisso could make his Internazionale debut against Atalanta on Wednesday.
Burdisso joined Inter from Boca Juniors during the off-season and penned a four-year contract with the Serie A giants.
He has yet to feature for the Nerazzurri but was an unused substitute against Palermo at the weekend.
Due to a string of injuries, Roberto Mancini has been tipped to pick Burdisso on Wednesday although the Inter coach refused to be drawn on the issue.
"Burdisso to play against Atalanta?" responded Mancini when asked about the subject. "It's possible."
Inter have drawn both Serie A matches this season and Mancini is wary of the threat posed by Atalanta, who are also yet to win this term.
He added: "Inter must face each match with the same spirit. In Bergamo, too, we will have to play our match without thinking of the opponent.
"We respect Atalanta but we have many players capable of imposing themselves on the match.
"Clearly, we are sorry to have only two points but the team already have a proper character and this gives me and my players faith to continue working and improving."
