Inter have confirmed that they have no intention of making any new signings in January.Internazionale technical director Marco Branca has confirmed that Nerazzurri have no intention of making any new signings in January.
The Italian media speculated on Friday that Inter were interested in numerous players.
These including Florent Malouda of Lyon, Ricardo Montolivo of Atalanta, Stefano Fiore of Valencia and Christian Abbiati of Milan, however all claims have been dismissed.
"As I have already stated on a few occasions, there will be no transfers too or from the club," Branca stated.
Speculation has suggested that if Abbiati signed to the club then he would replace the current keeper Francesco Told and that Inter would give up Turkish midfielder Belozoglu Emre in exchange.
Despite the dismissal from Inter, this exchange appears highly unlikely.
Primarily, Milan have frequently expressed their desire to keep Abbiati and they do not require a player with the attributes of Emre as they already have Kaka and Clarence Seedorf to adopt this midfield role.
