Montpellier are planning for next term and are eyeing Sabri Lamouchi.Montpellier are already planning for next term and have trained their sights on Sabri Lamouchi.
The club seem most unlikely to climb out of Ligue 2 and chairman Louis Nicollin believes the squad needs a boost in order to improve their chances of promotion next term.
Lamouchi has struggled to prove himself in Italy and is currently on loan at Genoa from Internazionale.
It is being suggested that the former France international midfielder favours a return to his native land and could join Montpellier if he fails to receive an offer from Ligue 1.
A player also believed to be on his way to Montpellier is Herve Alicarte, with the veteran currently receiving treatment at the club on a knee injury following the collapse of Swiss club Servette.
Provided he demonstrates his well-being, it is expected that Alicarte will receive a contract offer.
