David Pizarro is still intent on leaving Udinese in the summer.David Pizarro admits that whilst he is keen to secure UEFA Champions League football with Udinese, he is still intent on moving on to a more prestigious stage in the summer.
The Chilean star is one of Serie A's hottest prospects and has been linked with a wide range of Europe's biggest outfits including both Milan teams, as well as ambitious Sicilians Palermo.
For the moment the midfielder is focused on taking his club into Europe's most prestigious tournament, with Udinese currently neck-and-neck with Sampdoria for fourth place in Serie A.
Whilst qualifying for Europe's top competition would represent a massive achievement for the side, the 25-year-old reiterated his intention to further his career after failing to secure moves to Lazio and Internazionale in the past.
"I know president [Giampaolo] Pozzo would like to keep everyone, especially in case of the Champions League qualification," Pizarro told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"But I want to make the quality jump, in the past I've already lost two possibilities and I don't want it to happen again.
"Should I be obliged to stay I'd be really disappointed.
"My aim is to allow Udinese to earn Champions League football, but as for the market I know nothing for the moment, I'd like to stay in Italy."
