Juan Sebastian Veron's agent has quashed rumours of a prolonged spell at the San Siro.
Juan Sebastian Veron has no intentions of doing a U-turn on his decision to leave Internazionale at the end of the season, according to agent Fernando Hidalgo.
The former Manchester United midfielder plans to quit the Italian giants in June, favouring a move back to his native Argentina after the World Cup.
Recent murmurings around The San Siro had suggested that Veron was ready to change his mind after being persuaded by Nerazzurri supremo Massimo Moratti to stay for another season.
Agent Hidalgo heightened speculation when he was spotted in Milan, but he quickly quashed such rumours, confirming he was only in Italy for personal affairs.
Veron's departure would leave a sizeable void in the Inter midfield, prompting predictions of a summer move for Bayern Munich's Michael Ballack.
Moratti admitted the German superstar is in his thoughts, but only if Veron's departure is made official.
