Cesena have strengthened their squad ahead of the new Serie A season with the loan signing of Yuto Nagatomo.
The Japanese defender, who played four times for his country in the World Cup, has joined from FC Tokyo.
He will stay with Cesena for a year and will hope to keep them in the top flight after promotion last season.
Cesena also have the option to sign the 23-year-old permanently at the end of his loan deal.
A number of clubs had been linked with Nagatomo earlier this summer, including Premier League outfit Birmingham.
