ROMA DUO SET FOR EXIT

SERIE A giants Roma are looking to sell two of their players as they prepare for a pre-season trip to Germany.

Goalkeeper Marco Amelia is being chased by two Serie C sides: Viterbese and Benevento.

It is expected that he will choose between the two sides some time during the next seven days.

Ivan Tomic is tired of warming the bench at the Olimpico Stadium, and it is believed that Alaves are closing in on his signature.

They will face competition from Lecce, Swiss outfit Servette and French club Marsiglia, however, as they are also very keen on signing him.

Meanwhile, Roma will link up with Hertha Berlin as their preparations for the new season intensify and they have also arranged friendlies with Ajax and Galatasaray.
