Capello's future on the bench in the Italian capital has been the subject of speculation following a disappointing season for the Giallorossi.
The club have endured a lean time in Serie A and only have the Coppa Italia as a potential source of silverware this season.
Roma's director general Franco Baldini is adamant Capello will remain at the helm and that no key players will be sacrificed in the summer.
He said: "Roma will keep their best players, including (Vincenzo) Montella, and they will have Capello on the bench."
On the potential additions to the Roma ranks, Baldini confirmed the club were still keen on luring Ibrahimovic and Legrottaglie to the Eternal City.
Roma narrowly missed out on Chievo Verona defender Legrottaglie during the winter transfer window while they have been long-term suitors of Ajax forward Ibrahimovic.
Baldini is optimistic of signing the Swedish striker, providing the Dutch champions do not demand an exorbitant fee for the wilful youngster.
He added: "They (Roma) will look for a good forward, probably Ibrahimovic, if Ajax will ask a low sum. Then, they will have to replace Aldair, possibly with Legrottaglie."
However, Ibrahimovic appears reticent about swapping De Eredivisie for Serie A at this stage of his career with Ajax preparing to open contract negotiations.
Ibrahimovic is content to stay with the beaten Champions League quarter finalists and has no burning desire to quit Amsterdam ArenA.
"I am feeling really happy at Ajax, I feel that I am developing," he stated. "We have got a big side in the making.
"It is Ajax who want to offer me a new contract now, not me who has gone to them. They feel I have become a better and more useful player and, if they want to extend the contract, I am naturally open for it."
