Cristian Chivu's agent has dismissed talk of him leaving Roma to join Juventus.

Some reports in Italy have suggested that the Romanian stopper could jump ship from the Italian capital to join Juve.

Chivu's agent Andrea Pretti has dismissed any talk of a move to Turin for his client, insisting it is nothing but speculation.

"He won't leave Roma," Pretti told Radio Incontro.

"Juventus? It's normal that big players will have suitors, but I don't think that Bianconeri officials are close to calling me, because there is nothing concrete."

Chivu has missed most of the season with a broken metatarsal, but Pretti says he should be back in action in February.

"Chivu feels good now and he will be back in February."

The 24-year-old has already been linked with Milan this season, and it seems as though the top clubs are circling over the former Ajax stopper, with Roma struggling on and off the pitch.
