Black Stars boss Ratomir Dujkovic had fallen out with the former Bayern Munich man, but the 29-year-old has since apologised for comments he made to the Serbian coach.
The former Ghana captain, who has not played for his country since October 2004, is included in an 18-man squad to face Saudi Arabia on November 15.
The World Cup-bound Ghanaians have also included Chelsea midfield star Michael Essien in their 18-man party.
Next month's friendly is Ghana's first match since they sealed qualification for Germany with a 4-0 victory in the Cape Verde Islands earlier this month.
