It is advantage Roma in the Coppa Italia quarter final as Luciano Spalletti's side claimed a 3-2 first leg lead over an under-strength Juventus side at Stadio delle Alpi.
Indeed the Italian champions will be grateful still to be in the tie at all after Roma ran rough shod over the hosts for the first 70 minutes to inflict a first home defeat of the season on Juve.
The Giallarossi claimed a 38th minute lead through Alessandro Mancini who cut inside before dispatching a shot beyond Christian Abbiati.
Damiano Tommasi then added another goal on the break a minute after the hour mark when he struck a shot from the edge of the area.
Incredibly the visitors added a third in the 68th minute through Simone Perrotta's chip and Roma appeared to already have one foot in the semi-finals.
Juve's effervescent striker Alessandro Del Piero reduced arrears just four minutes later, however, as Fabio Capello's side refused to let Roma rest on their laurels.
Del Piero's second goal of the game four minutes into added time offers a glimmer of hope to Juve although Roma will be confident of completing the job in the return leg.
