Lazio midfielder Gaby Mudingayi has fractured his shinbone.
Lazio have been handed a blow with news that Gaby Mudingayi has fractured his shinbone.
The midfielder has now been ruled out for the season after being fouled by Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro at the weekend.
Mudingayi will likely need over a month to recover from the injury having had surgery in Rome on Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, Massimo Oddo (pictured) has been keen to underplay talk of his departure, eager to see out the remainder of the campaign and then evaluate his future.
The Italy international has been linked with a summer switch to Milan and whilst flattered, the player insists he will not do his current paymasters a disservice by discussing interest from elsewhere.
''Milan? For sure it's a pleasure to see your name linked to big sides,'' he told Sky Italia.
''But until June I want to keep concentrating and not be distracted by any market rumours.
''With Lazio we are having a really great season and at the end of the season we'll see what happens.
''Then, the national team is my aim.''
