Milan are sweating over the fitness of Brazilian wing back Serginho after he picked up an ankle knock in the last minute of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Juventus.
The Rossoneri fear the talented Samba star has damaged ligaments, but chief medical officer Jean-Pierre Meersseman will make a more detailed assessment when the swelling subsides during the week.
Serginho left the stadium on crutches with his ankle heavily strapped and is almost certainly out of Milan's UEFA Champions League clash with Brugge on Tuesday.
The Brazilian is expected to be joined on the sidelines for the European clash by Filippo Inzaghi as he still recovers from an injury he sustained last week.
Saturday's San Siro clash saw the home side take an advantage through Danish marksman Jon Dahl Tomasson, but Juve fashioned a response when Marco Di Vaio netted a superb leveller.
Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti was pleased with his side's performance and felt it would take a special strike to beat Dida.
"In front of such an in-form Dida, the Bianconeri could only shoot into the top corner of the net to beat him," said Ancelotti. "And Di Vaio did it, I congratulate him."
Di Vaio says the goal will stay in his memory banks forever.
"When you find a goal like mine, there is amazement and astonishment," he said. "Dida made a superb save from me earlier and then I hit the bar too.
"This score, for me, will stay in my personal history."
