Speculation regarding Massimiliano Allegri's future at the San Siro has intensified on the back of a disappointing start to the 2012/13 campaign.
Milan have started to string results together of late, but they are still locked in mid-table in Serie A and are far from guaranteed to reach the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League.
Struggles at home and abroad have piled pressure on Allegri's shoulders and sparked rumours that he could soon be ushered through the exits.
Former Barcelona coach Guardiola has been touted as a possible replacement, as he remains out of work since leaving Camp Nou, but Milan are adamant that no approach has been made to the Spaniard.
"AC Milan deny the reports that have appeared in the media referring to a proposed meeting between vice-president Adriano Galliani and agents or relatives or Mr Guardiola," read a statement posted on the club's official website.
