Di Francisco vented his fury at his fellow players for not fighting until the end after his side crashed to a 3-1 defeat against relegation rivals Empoli.
The Italian international is devastated with the capitulation - and believes that the entire club must come together to discuss the malaise.
"I would say that too many of the players have let themselves believe we are already down," said di Francesco.
"It is a self fulfilling prophecy.
"I have told the president that I would like to meet with him.
"It is hugely important that we find a solution that everyone agrees on - the club and the players."
